Welcome to Strategically Broke
Hi, I’m John I majored in Entrepreneurship and graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration. I started Strategically Broke because I heard the phrase from one of the podcasts I follow called My First Million hosted by Sam parr and Shaan Puri. The phrase Strategically Broke is when Shaan talks about his early career he left his first job out of college to go pursuit his start up but he did so strategically by living below his means. I’m currently unemployed doing something similar. I’ve tried all kinds of business adventures and side hustles to find a way to work for myself. From selling drinks and snacks in school to starting a custom t-shirt business to help fund my way through college.
What's this website for?
I wanted to document the different topics and ventures to make money outside a normal job that many talk about online to see what does and doesn’t work. As well as developing and improving upon my skills set such as writing for this blog. If you’re on the same path as myself I hope the insights on my research and experiments helps you become successful as well.
